Saxophonist, Ron James was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Miami, FL. Although introduced to music at a very early age, it was put on the back burner as James pursued a culinary career following college. As he excelled in that field, he realized that his true passion still remained in music.
In 2004, he stepped out on faith and positioned himself to pursue music full-time. He formed Morning Sunset Music LLC, a music production company and began the journey of establishing himself as a professional musician.
Currently residing in Atlanta, GA, Ron’s commitment to excellence has allowed him the distinct privilege and honor of working with many great artists and producers such as Peter White, Wayman Tisdale, Marvin Winans, Gladys Knight, Phil Perry, Jill Scott, Anne Nesby, Tramaine Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, Kevin Bond, Mike Phillips, PJ Morton, Chris Cauley and Dionne Farris.
Ron has been featured on Avery Sunshine by Avery Sunshine, Changes by Brien Andrews, In This Time by Patricia Shirley, RS2 by Rhonda Smith, All Day by William Murphy, Spirit & Truth by New Birth Total Praise Choir and The Best of Ann Nesby Live.
Ron created waves in the music industry with his debut LP, I Feel Ya. That project was a melodic mixture of contemporary Jazz, Blues and Inspirational music with funky rhythmic undertones.

With his new release entitled, Simple, Ron had one goal in mind – to showcase SIMPLE songs to convey a SIMPLE message about the SIMPLE way God wants us to SIMPLY worship Him through our words and actions.
Being musically influenced by greats such as David Sanborn, David Foster, Quincy Jones, Bob James, and George Duke, Ron is determined to create his own musical path free of any man-made boundaries.
